I build cabinetry both in the traditional American face frame style and in an adaptation of the European Frameless style more appropriate to modern decor.

  Face frame cabinetry has more of the appearance of nice furniture.  Of course much face frame cabinetry you will run across is not very nicely done.  The reasons are varied and often a less-than-satisfactory result is the fault of the installer as much as the maker.
