, Is It TRUE That Mindset And Dietary Choices Are Connected?

, I don't often mention it in my emails, but I am what many people call a health nut.  Every dietary choice I make is informed by this question:

"how will eating this food make me feel?"

I know from experience that some foods, especially eaten to excess, make me feel terrible and I know also that other

foods make me feel...

-buoyant

-energetic

-sharp

-self-confident

-and just more A.L.I.V.E.

Here's a fact... my own success as a home-based business owner doing this whole marketing thing is Shaped in a BIG, BIG way by the food I eat.

You may be aware that successful people have a success mindset.  Whats the easiest way to improve mindset?

For me, its not affirmations... its diet.

When I really want to feel good I stock up on food that releases endorphins in my brain.

If you do the same thing, your phone prospecting will feel so much better, you won't believe it.

For a while I had heard that success in network marketing or sal.es was at least 80% about having a success mindset...

yet I didn't really believe it until I gained a lot of experience in the industry... and talked to both a lot of successful and unsuccessful people.

And Believe me, I don't have a judgement about what you choose to eat, . But if you are struggling witrh self-esteem issues in your business-building, chances are that if you start eating a more "feel good" diet and drop the "feel crappy" foods and indulgences you engage in, you will see a new enthusiam and positivity about your selling activities...

And lets face it.

If you are in business, sales gotta happen. And if the salesperson isn't feeling good, it comes through... whether you sell by writing blogs or websites, or by prospecting on the phone, your mood comes through.

Here's a Video Clip From David Wolfe. David is a "raw food guru" and he's absolutely right in my book about dietary choices having a HUGE effect on mindset.  David gave this lecture at a Millionaire Mind Seminar.  I wasn't there at this particular seminar, but I have been to many and read Harv Eker's books.

Like David and Harv, I feel that the food you eat and the "energy" you put out are connected, .

If you are struggling with mindset, your income generating activites will suffer from it.

Foods that make me feel good and improve my mindset:

-fresh fruit and vegetables

-quinoa (grain of the incas)

-Raw Chocolate (Not sugar-candy chocolate... Raw CACAO - learn about this miracle food here)

-Himalayan Woflberries or Goji berries.  I don't drink the juice and won't vouch for its effectiveness.  I eat only the dried berries.

-Bee Pollen.  This is an amazing superfood.  try to eat only local pollen from local beekeepers, which can often be found at farmer's markets.  Some people are alergic to pollen.  if you have never eaten it you should test yourself by only eating a few grains and then increasing the dosage gradually.

Most of these foods should be available at a local health food store.  If they aren't you could request they order them.  This food isn't necessarily cheap, but ask yourself...

"What is my mindset worth to me?"
